Install & setup guide
VPN Manager is an app you run on your own server. It hosts a real VLESS+REALITY VPN and lets you sell access to your customers — your servers, your customers, your revenue. Install the desktop app, then follow the five steps to go live.
1 · Install the desktop app
Grab the installer for your platform from the Download page, then:
Windows
- Run
VPN-Manager-v3-win-x64.exe. - If SmartScreen warns (the app isn't code-signed yet), click More info → Run anyway.
- It installs and opens automatically. After this, updates apply on their own.
macOS
- Download the .zip —
VPN-Manager-v3-mac-arm64.zip(Apple Silicon) or-mac-x64.zip(Intel). - Double-click the zip to unzip it.
- Right-click (Control-click) "Install VPN Manager.command" → Open → Open. It installs to Applications, replaces any old copy, clears the macOS quarantine, and opens the app. No Terminal, no dragging.
Right-click → Open (not double-click): macOS blocks double-clicking un-notarized downloads, so double-clicking does nothing. Right-click → Open is the one-time bypass.
Linux
- Download
VPN-Manager-v3-linux-x64.tar.gz. - Extract it:
tar -xzf VPN-Manager-v3-linux-x64.tar.gz. - Run
./vpn-managerfrom the extracted folder. The Electron runtime is bundled — nothing else to install.
2 · Start your VPN host
Open the app and go to the Host tab. Click Start host — VPN Manager spins up the bundled xray-core, generates a fresh REALITY keypair, and opens 443 on your server. You now have a real, working VLESS+REALITY VPN. The Host dashboard shows live throughput, online customers, and resource use.
Run the app on the server you want to host from (any small VPS — Hetzner / Vultr / DigitalOcean, ~$3/mo — is plenty), or on a machine with a public address. No separate vless:// URL to paste: the app is the host.
3 · Activate your operator license
Open the License tab. Every operator license starts with a 14-day free trial — no card required. When you're ready, buy or renew your license (1 / 3 / 6 / 12 months) right there in the app. That's the only place the operator license is sold; there's no web checkout for it.
4 · Connect your Stripe so you get paid
Open the Payments tab and connect your own Stripe account. Your customers pay you directly — the money lands in your Stripe balance; we never touch it. Until both charges and payouts are enabled on your Stripe account, the app tells you exactly what's left to finish.
5 · Publish your storefront & sell access
In the Storefront tab, customize your shop (templates, tiers, branding) and publish it. Optionally enable the built-in Telegram bot for sales from chat. Your customers buy a plan on your storefront or bot, get their own private connection details + QR, and connect — all on your servers, all your revenue.
That's it. The app checks for updates on launch and once a day after that; updates download silently and install on next quit, and your active VPN tunnel survives the restart.
